Pineapple Fruit Pops with Chocolate Yogurt Dip

August 4, 2015 by Kristen Smith

These naturally sweetened Pineapple Fruit Pops offer a sweet treat that will help keep your calories in check.  Perfect to serve up for the kiddos next birthday party or just an afternoon snack.

Its summer, summer, summertime.  And its hot hot hot!  Over the past few weeks most of the country has experienced a serious heat wave.  Here in Georgia the average temperature has been near 100 degrees.  I don’t know about you, but when temperatures are on the rise all I want to do is sit poolside and sip on frozen drinks or munch on refreshing fruits.

Well friends I have some good news!  Today’s recipe for Pineapple Fruit Pops is a fun lower calorie snack to keep you refreshed during the hot temps. Imagine sitting poolside on a sweltering summer day snacking on a deliciously sweet and juicy pineapple. Added bonus, you can also enjoy dipped in a creamy chocolate dip.

Everything is more appealing on a popsicle stick right?!  The kiddos will be more attracted to this fruity snack on a stick.  Plus fruit served on a stick will help prevent those yucky sticky hands.

These Pineapple Fruit Pops can be offered as a snack or at the kiddos next birthday party.  I am certain some of my kiddos birthday parties will include such foods as fruit on a stick.  To lesson the preparation you may consider purchasing the fruit already sliced.

Enjoy!
