Kristen Smith, MS, RDN is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, mother of two, and founder of 360FamilyNutrition, based in Atlanta, GA. Established in 2012, her family-centered company aims to create lifelong healthy eating habits across every member of the household. As a trusted expert on family nutrition and weight management, Kristen’s passion is helping families build balanced, sustainable nutrition routines.
Her career as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist began in weight management, where she quickly recognized the pivotal role families play in shaping healthy eating behaviors. Becoming a mother herself highlighted the daily challenges of feeding a family, motivating her to create approachable, trustworthy resources.

Kristen is the author of The 5‑Ingredient Family Cookbook and has appeared on major platforms like Good Morning America, USA Today, CNN, and U.S. News & World Report. Currently, she proudly serves as a spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

Her nutrition philosophy? All foods can fit. Kristen develops recipes that emphasize nutrient-rich ingredients but also shares some of her favorites—like pizza and donuts (two favorites she often shares on her site and social channels). She believes that including all foods in moderation is essential for building a healthy relationship with food and maintaining habits long-term.
