Candy Cane Veggie Tray

December 9, 2012 by Kristen Smith

Looking for a fun and healthy option to serve at your next holiday party?!

A perfect option is the “Candy Cane Veggie Platter” made of grape tomatoes and cauliflower florets!  I think it is extremely important to serve plenty of healthy options at holiday parties.  Many people have a tendency to eat large amounts of unhealthy foods when they attend holiday parties.  My favorite aspect of this veggie tray is it reminds people healthy foods can be fun too!

A perfect dip to go along with this tray would be the dill sauce used in a previous blog post Quinoa Slides With Dill Sauce.

Ingredients:
1 – 10 oz container grape tomatoes
1 head of cauliflower, florets

Directions:
Arrange veggies in shape of candy cane

Enjoy!

Guess I'll be trying this out as part of my new diet cause my dentist told me to a lot of veggies and fruits since he just put up my new dental implants last month, I must be very careful of what I eat.

I guess the cosmetic dentists will allow me to take a try on this candy cane veggie platter. Besides, it’s fruits and according to studies, fruits actually are good supplements for healthy teeth and can improve oral health.

I'm pretty sure that if I ate all those veggies, I will be as healthy as a horse! The only thing I need to do is to have teeth whitening in perth.

After going through laser eye surgery because my left eye has been diagnosed for having a cataract, eating a lot of tomatoes is the advice I will be giving to all of you who will be able to read this. Tomatoes are good for the eyes because of the Lycopene presented in the said fruit.

Majority of yoga practitioners are vegetarian that's why they could manage doing all those complicated routines and poses. You see, vegetables just have certain nutrients in it that make our body stronger and healthier.
